Very comfortable beginner's climbing shoe. I have relatively flat feet, and the aggressive/advanced climbing shoes become extremely painful. The Evolv Royale has good rubber, fits well, and tightly, without hurting so much. Full length Laces let you cinch the shoe down where needed. Full Length Leather will form to your feet best over time. And the Thick laces can be pulled tightly with confidence. The only thing I could ask for on this shoe is more top rubber on the roof of the toe area for climbing upside down, but I'm not that skilled yet anyway!
I'd also recommend: La Sportiva

Received shoes quickly with no hassles. Shoes are a little tight at first (more the right foot). Stuck a boot last in it, laced it up and left it for a week. These shoes do stretch out. Overall very happy. Have bought from Zappos before, never had any problems.
I'd also recommend: Ahnu makes a great shoe for general wear

Great shoe for the money, I ordered a size down from my street shoe, uncomfortable at first but not unbearable. Have had about 7 3 hour gym climbs in them now and have stretched to fit great. Smears well but the edging is fairly weak in them do to the rounded toes. All in all a great all day shoe.

Great first climbing shoe. Careful with the sizing. I originally bought small based off of recommendations to have a very tight fitting shoe, but it was just painful. Closer to my true shoe size work much better, and the free shipping and return policy made this exchange seamless.
