Great fit. Comfortable from day one. After years of Rockports, thought I would try Dunham for a change. I like these the best of any casual shoes that I have owned. Zappos delivers!

Hurts my ankles - I have worn these shoes only a couple of times but they press on my ankles making them swell. The shoe has a high cut which is causing this problem. Also, the double A extra width means that the shoe also feels larger. I usually take a size 7 1/2 but they don't make the extra width in this size. I would not buy this shoe again.

Shoes arrived opened the box and to my surprise the shoes were used and worn out. I called Zappos and they apologized 15 times and authorized return and gave me a 30 dollar coupon to calm me down. I guess someone stole the new shoes and put the old ones back in the box. Well one thing was good shipping was fast. The girl that serviced the call was great also. I will still order shoes from Zappos sometimes stuff happens.

I am returning this shoe for two reasons: 1. It is a half size to short 2. It doesn't breathe as much as I'd like. My true size is around 12.5 A. I have a long narrow, flat foot. The width (B) of this shoe is better than most, but my big toes touched the front. The waterproofing is a plus for some, but may make your feet sweat. Because the width is true to description (which is saying a lot for narrow footers), I am sending back and ordering a 13 N. The shoe looks to be of good quality for the price.
I'd also recommend: Drew Walker 2 from Shoebuy.com (has a 12.5 N)

These shoes feel sturdy, comfortable, and well-built, with good support for a lot of daily walking. They took a few days of breaking in, but now I really like them. They also seem to live up to their reputation for being waterproof, based on my limited testing. However, what keeps moisture out also keeps it in and these shoes can get sweaty and a bit stifling after you've worn them for an entire day. They're also on the heavy side, and probably better for cooler weather than warmer seasons.
I'd also recommend: Rockport, New Balance

Like many people looking at this shoe I have wide 4E feet. New Balance/Dunham has been a go-to, so I've been said to see them cutting back on their support for those with wide feet (just look at reviews for other NB shoes since 2010). I really wanted to like the Windsor, but am now regretting my choice due to shape and due to materials. The shoe *looks* quite wide -- bulky even -- and felt *mostly* wide when I tried it. But, they are digging in painfully to both of my outer 'pinkie' toes. Comparing to some older NBs and Rockports that fit me well, here's what I noticed about the Windsor: the Windsor is wider at the toe and at the heel, but critically, it's a bit narrower through the mid-front, like at the first lace. So it's more of a straight last, less sculpted than the famous SL-2 / MOL-2 lasts used to be. Second, the shoe curves too far inward. On most shoes each toe is slightly "in" from the heel, i.e., curving a bit towards the big toe. The Windsors curve in a LOT. They also slope in on the "out" side. That means they are very roomy around my big toes, almost too roomy, but that odd shape explains why they are giving me pinkie blisters. If you have a giant big toe but small/thin pinkie side of your foot maybe they'll work. The leather is also not very forgiving. Hopefully it'll loosen up, but in four weeks it's stayed stiff -- makes the pinkie toe problem worse, and the edges of the shoe are sort of digging into my ankle as I walk too. The concept is just right for me -- motion control, somewhat off-road capable, waterproof, but not too 'athletic' looking. I've settled on Rockport World Tour Elite instead for fit, but the Rocks aren't waterproof (not even tounge gussets). The Dunham Outlook looks like a more normal fit, but it's much more expensive despite having fewer features.

Very comfortable for daily wear. Roomy in the forefoot (but not loose). Good walking cushioning. Works well with orthotics.
