Deer Stags

I have a wider foot. I hate dress shoes. I like these so much I went and bought a second backup pair incase they were discontinued. Glad to see they are still selling 7 years later. Very comfortable, soft and quick beak in period.

Got these in black for myself and got the chestnut for my boyfriend. We both love them. They're good indoor/outdoor slippers, and they are quite comfortable. They do stretch out a little bit after wearing them a couple times, but not to the point that they lose their function - they wind up being a bit wider. It just makes them easier to slide on! At the end of the day, I look forward to taking off my work shoes and slipping into these cozy little foot cushions.

I'm on my 3rd pair of these and I actually do wear them "wherever." If I'm running a quick errand, I'll leave these on. I've even had a few compliments on them.

These are very comfortable shoes. I first found these shoes about two years ago, in a retail store, but they stopped carrying them. I contacted the company, but was told they were out of stock, and didn't know when they would be available. I was very happy to have found them at Zappos, in fact I ordered two pairs at the same time.

Great shoes. Very comfortable right out of the box. They look good and are safe to take through a metal detector (if you're one of the folks who doesn't have to remove your shoes). I keep buying these same shoes every couple of years as the last pair wears out. I've had very little problems with them (had one shoe that I needed to have a cobbler glue the front of the sole after I'd torn it loose from the front). I recommend this shoe to anyone.

I bought these as a whim since the shoe I usually buy is twice the amount and found these more comfortable and better fitting than the more expensive ones. No time needed to break in and am very happy with this shoe.

To begin with, the service was (is) great! My package arrived not long after placing my order. Second, these shoes are great. I love them. I'm glad that I was able to find them online. I usually wear a size 10 but ordered a size 9 after reading a review stating that the shoe size ran a little larger. I plan on ordering another pair. Love them!

I love these shoes. I wear them to work each day. My job had both desk time, lots of meetings, and inspections on construction sites. These sites are comfortable all day. And, they are SO easy to clean up from a dirty or muddy site.

I ordered 8 3W. The shoes felt more like 9 3W. The shoes didn't last long, only about 6 months of weekday uses. The back of the right shoe is starting to peal off now. The material looks & feel rugged, but the glue used is weak.

Absolutely horrible shoes! The fit was fine, but they state that they have genuine leather uppers...if that were so, then the "finish" on the shoes would not have started flaking off after less than a month of wear. Yes, I said that the top portion of the leather actually started to flake off on these shoes leaving them unwearable because of how they looked. Quite frankly, I have never purchased a worse pair of shoes and I feel like I have been ripped off.

Ah, the stags. Cool name - cool shoes. If shoes can really be considered 'cool'. Anyway, I needed some shoes to replace my old standby black shoes I use at work. For me, I have a pretty standard work outfit - nothing fancy. Sometimes jeans - sometimes dress pants - so I needed shoes that would work with both. Enter - Deer Stags. These guys not only look good, but gosh darn it all, if they aren't also just comfortable to wear. Now look, they aren't going to fool anyone into thinking you are wearing $1500 shoes - but do you really want to be that guy? These do the job - they work well, are built well, are comfortable, and aren't afraid to dress it up or play it causal. Just the right shoes I was looking for.

These are very comfortable, but they do not last. I bought a pair and the whole front ripped very quickly. So I returned them and got a replacement pair from Deer Stags directly, and they also ripped right away, very easily. A friend of mine has them and the same thing is happening to his pair. Deer Stags knows comfort, but not quality.

I have had 4 pairs of these shoes, each lasting about 18-24 months of daily wear to the office. I find them comfortable and with a good level of slip resistance on both wet floors and dry powder on smooth concrete floors, which is an important factor at my job. Also they are decent on icy surfaces. I'm on my feet for about 3 hours out of 8 and even a full day on my feet in these shoes is not a problem. I do need extra arch support than what these shoes offer, but I was born with that problem. My other problem of having a wider foot then normal in the toe region is well accomodated in this shoe. The one fault that I do find is that they do scuff and mar easily. Despite that, I still believe they are a decent value for the dollar.

The shoes are comfortable and worked well for work for about 2 months until the sole of the shoe basically fell off of the rest of the shoe. I called Deer Stags customer service number they were less than helpful and tried to give me a runaround without making any effort to solve the problem. After raising hell with their customer service for about 3 days they decided to send me a replacement pair. The replacement pair lasted a little bit longer, about 3 months before it started to fall apart as well. I will never again buy a pair of Deer Stag shoes.

I would not buy this brand of shoe again. After wearing them for a few weeks the simulated tumbled leather upper chipped and the upper separated from the sole. Poorly made. Had I noticed that these were not leather I would not have purchased. You get less for the money with these shoes.

The sole of these shoes are much thicker on the outside edge and, therefore, they cause your knee to tip in. Not comfortable.

I wear women's 10 / medium width. In this shoe a men's 9 fit perfectly. Soft suede outer. Cushy insole. Nice detail around the edge. Good rubberized sole for trips into the yard to get the paper. Unfortunately one of the shoes had a manufacturing error under the insole that felt like a big lump. So this particular pair is going back but I m going to immediately order the exact same shoe as a replacement.

The shoes look and feel great, however, the size 11M, which is my usual size, was too small. Exchanged it to an 11.5 and it's perfect. I can't say for certain that all sizes run a half size small, but the 11 definitely did. Thank you Zappos for the good service and quick replacement.

The tongue and heel are made out of the softest leather imaginable. A shoe horn can't get your feet inside this shoe! Every single time I wear this shoe, I have to loosen the laces completely (otherwise the tongue slips down to your toes and you'll never get it back up without taking your shoe off). The heel collapses under the slightest pressure, so you have to open the shoe up as wide as possible and slide back into the shoe from the front. If taking an extra five minutes to put on shoes bothers you, then avoid this shoe!

These slippers are just okay. Flat and wide inside. Was hoping for a little more cushiness. Since I only wear them for padding around the house, I kept them but they're not "all that."
