Cushe Reviews
Reviewer: Matthew Ostroff from Philadelphia, PA
Overall: Comfort: Style:
Not only are these shoes modern and cool looking, much to my surprise they are just about the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
I bought these shoes mostly for comfort, but I thought they would also be cute. They were neither, extremely wide (and I have wide feet!) and very stiff. When I walked, they bent really awkwardly and the sides folded outward. They were lightweight, but that's because the material felt a little like cardboard...
This is a hard shoe to review. It is so different and style-wise I find it adorable. Comfort...hmmm. The material is rigid, not really scratchy but definitely not soft. The footbed is cushioned. The first time i wore them the fabric on the sole of the right foot tore...And i was just at a party in a backyard (no rock-climbing). I kept them because they are so cute. But I agree with the reviewer who said these shoes are way over-priced. Also I have a narrow foot and these are border-line acceptable. If the elastic at the top rim holds, I'll be ok, otherwise they'll be wide. But they are really cute. That's the best I can do. Lol.
Loved the way these look. But no arch support at all made them uncomfortable and unstable. The soles were very slippery on wood floors. Too bad, I really liked them but had to return them. If Cushe could adjust sole design and arch support, I would buy again.
Loved everything about these shoes but the complete lack of arch support made them unstable to walk in and very uncomfortable. Too bad. I had to send them back.
Wanted a shoe to use to kick around the yard, deck, grilling and apre bike rides. This seemed to fit the bill. Felt great wearing around the house, but when doing a little walking, shoes felt shorter than the size would indicate. I do like the collapsible heel that allows you to step into these like clogs! Not sure how well they will wear...certainly not so well on the street.
These sandals are very cute and comfortable and fit true to size. The color is like a dark pewter with a slight metallic look to them.
My favorite sandals ever. I just blew out the outside right buckle after 3 years of daily wear. Not suited for the hills in Newport Beach. Probably my fault. They're just so comfortable.
When I put these on I felt like I didn't have any shoes on. They felt wonderful. I have a high arch but they are still very comfortable. I really, really like these shoes. Wore them for 6 hours the first time I put them on after buying them.
Aagh, I posted my review to the wrong shoe so here goes again. I have narrow feet with a moderately high arch but need a wide toe box. This shoe was too short and pinched my toes but was sloppy wide everywhere else. The background color of the print fabric is a dark charcoal, not black.
I have narrow feet with a moderately high arch but need plenty of room in the toe box. This shoe was too short and pinched my toes but was sloppy wide everywhere else. The background color of the print fabric is more dark charcoal than black.
I love these slip ons. I work on my feet, and although they don't have a lot of support, they are lightweight, and I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.
I bought these shoes to wear on a trip to Italy this summer. They're very cute and more stylish than everyday flip flops. I wore them for 2 days after I received them, and the strap between the toes rubbed blisters between both of my toes. They are the correct size, fit well and are comfortable other than the rubbing. So, I will be returning them. It's a shame, I really liked them.
After four days, the raffia around the sole started to break off and shatter. The leather that goes over the arch is too baggy -- feet move around all over the place -- and it left blisters on the tops of my feet after a week of wearing them. Uncomfortable, and fragile!
I liked the design and style. After wearing it for about 30 minutes my feet got blister. The stitching under the strap is very rough and very uncomfortable. I returned them.
I agree with a previous post that said the the footbed was a nice fit, but the top was large and floats above my foot. The back comes up and away from the foot when I take a step. Can't imagine that a smaller size would fit the footbed, so I'll give up on these. Super-cute, though. Too bad.
As always Zappos nailed it on service. Thanks Zappos. These have been great shoes, the size was spot on and they mold to your foot like a glove. I live in OBX and very rarely put socks on so these shoes are my new go to.
I love these shoes! I ordered these to wear for a NYC trip, needed something casual yet dressy enough to go from touring to dinner. They are very comfortable. I've worn them to work (I am a librarian/teacher) and my feet were fine at the end of the day. I could use these as my one pair of sandals to take everywhere this summer!
I just got my new sandals yesterday, and I love them! When I first put them on, I noticed the excellent arch support right away. I also noticed the straps felt a little big overall, and no way to adjust them. I decided to wear them around the house and see, and the footbed was so comfortable I wore them to work today, and then for my walk around the lake. They did great all day long, no break in period, just excellent fit and comfort right out of the box. My foot is regular width and between an 8 1/2 and 9, I went with the 9. I have high arches, finding a sandal with good support is a rare find indeed.
