I bought these for my adult son. He says they're the most comfortable shoes he's ever owned. He can wear them all day long.

I bought these shoes in April of last year and after two weeks of wearing them, I was experiencing severe abdominal/pelvic pain. I did not immediately associate it with the shoes, because my feet and legs never hurt and there were other things I did that might have caused the pain (e.g. yoga). Over the course of many months, many medical tests, and many misdiagnoses, I finally figured out that the shoes were the source of my pain. 4 weeks after discarding them, I am pain free. There is a hard plastic button that is part of the logo the rubber sole of these shoes. That plastic button does not give, and it was pushing constantly against a nerve on the bottom of my feet, especially if I went for a longer period (more than 30 minutes) of walking. The pain typically showed up 24-36 hours later and lasted for a long time - especially if I wore the shoes again soon. While it is almost certain that most people won't suffer any ill effects of these shoes, I wanted to put my experience out there in case anyone who buys these shoes starts experiencing unexplained pain in their body after walking in them for a couple weeks. And, if you are someone who has sensitive nerves, you'll probably want to avoid these shoes entirely.

I ordered these during the last minute Christmas rush just based on a little information my boyfriend gave me. He said he had bought a pair of these shoes 6 years ago and needed to replace them. I had never ordered from Zappos, Placing the order over the internet was very easy, the shoes shipped immediately, fit perfectly, and he has never been happier. I ordered both the black and brown in the same style. He has an extra wide foot and loves these shoes.

This is easily my most comfortable shoe. The fit and support are superb. It's like wearing my favorite set of athletic shoes, but much better looking. The shoe is very durable and thick leather, yet remains still relatively light.

Zappos, a pleasure to do business with. I have problem feet and have ordered shoes only to have to send them back because they didn't fit well. Zappos takes the sweat out of this. They know how to operate an online store. As for the shoes, well these passed the fit test, and as usual, Clarks makes a quality shoe.
I'd also recommend: Sorry, I'm a Clark fan - their shoe seem to fit my feet best
