About Clae
2001 saw the launch of Clae shoes. Clae is credited as being one of the first brands to make a mark in the “athleisure” footwear movement with their respected stable of Clae sneakers. Clae sneakers are seen as a hybrid collection that offers sneaker-comfort fused with classic footwear styling.
The introduction of Clae sneakers spawned a new definition of casual. Clae sneaks deliver quality production, attention to detail and fashionable style. After a three year incubation, 2007 saw the return of Clae shoes to satisfy the cravings of the marketplace for a fresh look to footwear.

If you're looking for a shoe that stands out, this is the one. I get tons of compliments every time I wear them. The color is a little misleading in the description. It's more of a seaweed than pavement. The only bad things about these is the lack of support and the fact that they crease easily. Definitely not reasons to pass on them.
These shoes are pretty much the best! From the time I received them, I haven't taken them off. Great quality and comfort. I found they actually ran try to size.
The hawaiian print shoes are sick. Good quality and nice details. Just got them so I don't yet know how the canvas will hold up. Clae shoes all run a 1/2 size bigger than normal and these are no exception.
When I saw that Clae shoes were available on Zappos I was excited an appropriate amount for the given situation. I have been buying Claes for years but I am not mad at the free shipping/returns that Zappos adds to the equation. I bought two pairs of the Newmans (these and the camo)and there is no looking back. These fit perfect to size. The back is stretchy so there is no threat of creasing because you have to do the "jam and stomp" to get the shoes on. Well made shoes, great look, buy them and enjoy!
Way rad shoes. Clae's shoes out of the box are squishy in the footbed. So I took out the one it came with and put in a super feet footbed. Much better. I no longer feel like I'm going to fall on my face when I walk forward.
Overall I am happy with these sneakers. They fit me extremely well, just a tad narrow on the front. I received the sneakers within 3 business days, as promised they were brand new. I wear these sneakers on a regular basis, really happy with the product.
Great Looking shoe, well constructed but not very comfortable. My foot is a 10, I don't have a month to try to break these in, please improve the comfort and I'll be back. Zappos keep up the great work.
I love these shoes. Their light color attracts a little more dirt than I like, but their cool style makes up for it.

Great looking shoe that you can wear with anything. So many times a shoe looks completely different in reality than on the website - not the case with this one. Highly recommend Clae to anyone!
I love these shoes. They're so comfortable, so durable. I'll never buy from another shoe brand other than Clae. After a year and a half of playing basketball, hiking, and working in these shoes, they are still as comfortable as when I first got them. I did mess up the interior leather up some, though. But that hasn't affected the feel of them.
Love these. Soft leather without being too flimsy. And so comfortable. I often get compliments. I always buy a size larger with Clae's.
Kinda hard to put on, but once they are on they get the job done. Pretty fresh!
I love this shoe! It's a great looking, dressier sneak. I got the black, and they are super easy to clean. Just wipe them off with a slightly damp rag, and they look brand new! Didn't feel smaller than marked, but they're narrower, so order a size up!
Definitely order a size larger. They are a nice, stylish and comfortable shoe. But as another viewer noted, the grey leather is darker than the wool, so it's more of a two-tone look. I often get compliments on them.
One of the more uncomfortable sneakers I've ever worn. The toe digs into my foot and it gets quite painful. They do look fly though.

I was really excited when I saw these shoes on Zappos because I've been wanting a pair charcoal wool shoes. When I finally received them I was really disappointed. The photo on the web makes the shoe look like it's all grey. The actual shoe that I got, the leather areas were really dark almost black looking. So the shoes look like charcoal grey wool with black leather. Buyer beware!
Really like these shoes. Materials are quality and the ripstop is unique and very durable. Comfort wise they do run a half to full size small and are narrow towards the front. Took a little breaking in but after that they were very comfortable. I love the simple look and fact that they don't have a huge logo anywhere on them. Definitely a more adult sneaker.
I am very pleased with the style and quality of these boots. I have worn Clarks boots and others for many years and these are equal in style and quality. The light color, cream leather back seam detail and sole all work to make this a a fun summer boot.
Clae Russells are an extremely fly looking pair of kicks. I get looks/compliments all the time. Make sure to wear your jeans behind the tongue to show off the full look and the red leather inside! They do run narrow and short, as I had to size up to a size 11 from a normal size 10.
