While I wanted to love these shoes since I am on the hunt for supportive sandals while I am nursing a knee injury, they had to be sent back. The comfort and arch support is amazing but the straps are too short. Even in the wide size, the straps had to be loosened so much that the buckle laid on the top center of my foot and looked ridiculous. I do have crazy wide feet and a high instep but I had high hopes. This is my third size and style attempt at a Chaco sandal and I am sad to say that they are just not for me. Thankfully, Zappos makes ordering and returning from my couch so easy!! Now on to try a pair of Tevas, wish me luck!!

Very snug fit. They offer wides that was the first clue. If you even remotely have a wide foot~ do the wide! If only for the toe loop! Reordering wides right now.

So glad these are available in solid colors other than black! These are my third or fourth pair of Chacos, and they are my go-to summer sandal. I live in a southern city and walk everywhere, so these are my primary shoes for about 7-8 months out of the year. I walk about 30 miles/week between commuting and running errands, and each pair lasts about two years before the soles start to crack. I usually wear a woman's 11W or 11WW (a Men's 10 in Chacos) and I have a very high arch and instep. These sandals support and accommodate my difficult-to-fit feet, and have a firm footbed, which is helpful if you have plantar fascitis. I wouldn't call Chacos "stylish," exactly, but even in stuffy Washington, DC, I am seeing them more and more. If you live in the West or Northwest, then you probably already own a pair!

I was so disappointed. My sister hikes, camps, etc. in these all summer. I thought they were very uncomfortable and unflattering. I have flat feet and love a high arch support as in Dansko clogs, but these were just huge and in the wrong place. My normal feet looked fat and ugly. I also wish Chacos had half sizes available. Perhaps that was my issue. Going with Keens, instead (and order up a half size with Keens!).

I absolutely love these shoes. I have worn them casually and for major outdoor adventures. Great wet and dry and wonderfully comfortable. I have had to adjust the straps around my toes almost every time I put them on but I don't mind since it gives a custom fit. Really great shoes!

Chacos are my sandal of choice as they are comfortable, supportive and almost indestructible. I have a pair without the toe loop and love them but think the toe loop is perhaps a little more flattering. I also love that these are brown instead of the usual black. I do have a narrow foot so after adjusting the straps, I had to trim the ends.

These are the best flip flops I have ever owned hands down... and I grew up a Florida boy on the beach. We live in our flip flops. Although I appreciate Reef and Rainbow these are far superior in terms of comfort, arch support and durability. I'm not a huge fan of their first generation on flips but Chaco rocked this one!

These are my first pair of Chaco sandals. It took a couple of minutes to get the straps right, but now they feel great. The arch support is very firm (like a Birkenstock) which I love. I do think the sandals with ankle straps would help keep them on your feet a little better and if I get another pair, it will be the one's with ankle straps.

My favorite Chaco sandal yet! I have high instep and plantar fasciitis, so great arch support is needed anytime I am upright. These are much lighter, easier to adjust by far, and very supportive. My only negative is that the strap that dusts at the ankle is almost to long. By the time I have pulled it tight enough to be a good fit and it is maxed and has a long tail dragging out behind it. That said, I will get another pair in another color this summer.

I really wanted to love these but the strap going from my pinky toe across is way too tight. Both shoes were tight but one foot noticeably more so. My daughter who is the same size tried them on and said the same thing. These will be exchanged for a pair of Tevas.

I can always count on Zappos! I ordered these sandals Saturday night and wore them today, Tuesday. Let me tell you: I have progressively bad feet. Heel spurs on one foot, hammer toes on the other, and bunions on both. I decided that I was willing to spend this much on good sandals if they were truly comfortable...and they are! I am so happy, because I do a lot of walking dogs and grandchildren. I am a pretty good size 7 and got these in 7, perfect fit. They are adjustable so much so that you can actually create the most comfortable fit ever. And the soles are so thick that they provide great cushions for sore feet. They are not so stylish that they are for wearing for dress up, but I will wear them almost everywhere in lieu of limping slowly around. If you need shoes for comfort, get these. And they are all man made, so they are vegan which is a requirement for me. Thank you again, Zappos. I buy from you knowing I can return things, and then I am so happy with them that I always end up keeping them.

Usually an 8.5 sized down to 8 - perfectly custom fit w/straps to adjust. Very well made sandal that will make walking a pleasure. Support is premium!

I've had a rough time with these sandals. I really wanted to love them, and for rugged sandals I still think they are pretty cute. However, I've had constant problems with the fit. The arch in the sole just doesn't quite match up with the arch in my foot, though the shoes are otherwise the perfect width and length, so I've had issues with blistering on my soles. Also, I have to readjust the straps after every time I wear them (and sometimes while wearing them), and it's very difficult with the extra band around the toe and the thinner double straps. I had hoped that I would be able to adjust them once and then be done, but the fit just doesn't hold, and with the many straps the readjust is prone to error and a lot more time-consuming than I'd like, since I bought them for camping and hiking and have to take them on and off when I'm in and out of the tent. I'd try another pair of Chaco sandals in the future, but one with a single strap and without the extra toe band (though I don't think I'd find them as cute as these).

I wanted to love these and I almost kept them, but wanted something a little less clunky. The zipper was extremely hard to unzip too, but that would likely improve over time. Fit true to size.

I love Chacos and these are fabulous, as expected. I have a pair of ZX/2 Unaweeps, and I bought the Z/1 Yampa just so my Chaco tanlines got some variety. I'm normally a size 8, but in Chacos I'm a 7 Wide - I think they run a full size large. I have a ginormous instep - for those that have tried Chacos and report 'sausage toes,' I highly recommend ordering a wide width. The footbed doesn't seem much wider, but the straps are longer.

I like these sandals. This is my first pair of Chacos. I wanted something light & sturdy and with a toe loop. I've had the Rex now for about a month. Wearing them around town is comfortable with no break-in period. Easy to adjust the straps, although I had to exchange one pair to get a more snug size. Make sure the arch fits in your arch and the toe loop fits. I had to go down a size to get the right fit. I'm planning to wear these all summer long, and I think you'll like them too!

I finally ordered my first pair of Chacos and I am really pleased with them. Just be aware that if you walk a lot, you might want to start with the straps a little loose to accommodate if your feet swell. Otherwise you will be adjusting the straps mid-walk, and that's not easy. Great comfort, lightweight, durable, great traction, supportive, and adorable! I want another pair for sure.

I love these Chaco Dawkins sandals! I have nearly flat feet, and the arch support is superb. I was a little worried they might be a little short, as the toe loop dug in a little at first, but after the first day, it was no longer an issue. I can wear these sandals all day without feeling my arches "fall" after a few hours. They're cute with cropped skinnies, skirts of all lengths, and rolled up boyfriend jeans. I have a pair of 13 year old Chaco Z2 sandals with the Vibram soles that are frayed at the edges, and have been down probably 900 hundred miles of rivers, and up and down their side canyon trails, and I won't give them up until they're falling off my feet! Chaco makes an excellent product that won't let you down, no matter where your travels take you.

This is the last sport sandal you'll ever need. That said, it might take a couple of days for the two of you to come to an understanding. The straps take a few wears to get the fit right, but once done, the fit is beautiful. For those tenderfeet out there, the textured footbed might take some getting used to, but it is exceptionally comfortable once you do. After a long day on my feet at work, these sandals are the first thing I put on after my work shoes come off. From mid-march to early november, these are my footwear of choice.

This is my third pair of Chacos, the previous two being flip flops, and all I can say is that I am highly impressed. I used to go through a pair of sandals a summer, wearing them literally everywhere, until I bought my first pair of Chacos in 2009. They finally broke last fall, so I quickly ordered a replacement pair. Best value footwear bar non. So I knew I had to give their Unaweeps a shot, as everyone I knew in college swore by them. These are as burly as a lightweight hiking boot for a sole, but with the wearability of a sandal as an upper. perfect balance for longer walks or hikes. Somewhat tough to break in, but well worth it, my only complaint really would be my "chaco tails" problem, the strap is a little long for my low volume foot, but I just wrap them around the heel strap and am on my way. You can't go wrong, and these things seem like they will last forever. If you are thinking about buying a pair, just get them and don't look back.

I did not like the fit of these, I had some Choco flips for 8-9 years and loved them. These were to spongy on the foot bed and the strap was to loose. I would recomend the original flips.
