Celtek Reviews
This is a really nice beanie. It does the style without doing it yourself. I had a Celtek beanie and washed it a couple of times and it is still good. It is pretty good quality for the price.
I got it for my girlfriend who loves it although I will say it's a little tough when also wearing a helmet and goggles. If not wearing a helmet I would def get it, if wearing a helmet might want to try something thinner like other Celtek models.

I bought this for sub zero skiing as my face tends to get quite cold slamming down those doubles blacks! It ended up being more like a neck gator than a face mask however as it's quite loose and won't stay up on its own. It does manage to cover my face when I tuck it into the bottom of my goggles but this creates a fogging issue. I do like it for a neck gator though as it keeps my neck warm without all the bulk of a scarf.
Really nice materials. Fleece liner is great. Day of the dead design is sweet. Keeps my face warm on the mountain without smothering me. The breath hole helps out with that. I'm happy with my purchase.
This is a well-made, very warm, comfortable mitten. But the sizes seem to run small. I used the size chart provided and ordered the Large, but I can barely get my hand in the mitten and it is too tight across the back of my hand. So I'm returning the Large for a pair of XL. Seems like a great product, except for this issue. I can't imagine anybody but a small woman or child would be able to wear the SM or MD. Even the L, I think, will be too small for most men.
I personally like the style of the Chroma from Celtek; great material, nice and light, and comfortable gloves but I was not even able to wear them for one day without seeing the zipper separated on both gloves. This is simply a manufacturer's error, but it is not something many people want to deal with.
This item was too large and wouldn't stay up on my face. Since it was one size only, I couldn't go down a size. It seemed very well made and would have been nice, if it had been smaller or had some ability to adjust (drawstring, etc.). I am returning it.
Very well made and keep my hands warm. Also, flexible - easy to do things while I have these gloves on.
I bought 3 models from Celtek at once, thinking I would keep 1 or 2 that I liked the best. Heist, Rogue, and Payson, for running in the winter, and possibly for skiing. Ended up returning all 3 because they all have the same 2 flaws: 1) too tight. I could barely fit them over my head (Heist was the tightest, Payson was more forgiving.) Specifically, the tip of my nose felt smushed, my mouth felt smothered, and I couldn't turn my head up because they were tight. More elastic range/stretchiness would have been nice. 2) They need to adjust that construction so it's not just the same circumference top to bottom. By that I mean, they should be loose around the mouth and nose tip, but secure at the upper border so that the mask would stay above the nose. If Celtek made these things loose enough to wear comfortably for me, I think they won't stay above my nose when I go running. One last thing, the Heist and Rogue are heavier than they look, and Payton is much thinner (like Underarmor) than it looks. Celtek, I hope you read this...

Fit was decent. I have problems with my hands and needed mittens to replace my gloves. I'm used to gloves, and the palm area seemed 'loose'. But, It has been a long time since I wore mittens! The wrist straps reminded me of the cord/clips that once ran through the sleeves of your jacket so you didn't lose your mittens. That feature came in handy already for starting the snow blower and spreading salt. It hasn't gotten overly cold here this year, but they have been comfortable down to 15 deg F. More on that if winter makes it here this year.

In 2003, two brothers created CELTEK with one aim: to revolutionize the action sports industry by tapping the creativity of riders, artists, and the community itself. From a few gloves sold by a small group of core riding shops in that first season, CELTEK has since experienced an organic and exponential evolution, maturing into a full-fledged accessory source that supplies shops in more than 15 countries around the globe with its unique, art-inspired designs. Every CELTEK product brings the roots of action sport culture to the surface, placing the passion and personality of the rider on display with unmistakable style and matchless quality. From the beginning, the mission of the CELTEK clan has remained the same: inspire creativity, express individuality, and ride every chance you get.
