Super soft and great chunky texture...BUT returned because the side flaps sit extremely high and hit above my jawline for an awkward fit. If tied, it'd be across my mouth? If rotated forward for ties to hang further down, the hat covers my eyes.

These mittens are very warm! Unfortunately, they got quite fuzzy almost right away. Also, the fleece pulls away from the knit on one mitten and this happened within a week of wearing them. I still wear them, as they bring the level of warmth I was looking for, but they look like shabby year-old mittens, rather than brand new ones.

Never delivered, 2 weeks later filed inquiry, UPS's computer logs lost package outside Akron, after another week UPS says delivered. Crazy!

I run distances outside in the evenings straight through the winter and live in northern Indiana. The Bula Hinge Power Dry Balaclava is great for keeping the face and neck warm. It is snug but does not smash your face/nose so much that you cannit bear to wear it (note: I kind of have a big nose, so if you have a normal size nose, you should be fine as well). The inside has little soft squares that feel soft to the touch but can be breathed through easily is you have it covering your nose and mouth (I usually keep it just below my upper lip though because I feel like I can breath better while running, but when shoveling snow or walking around outside, pulling the mask up over my mouth and nose works great). Also, the neck is perfectly long enough both in the front and in the back. I had previously tried the Under Armour UA ColdGear Hood and the neck on it is at least 3-4" too short front and back, so it got returned. I was a bit concerned about the neck on the Bula Hinge Power, especially the front, but it works great. The front and back are long enough that you can tuck them into your shirt and the longer front allows you to turn your head (street crossing, being chased by a dog, etc.) without feeling strangled. The neck part is not snug like the head/face area, but it doesn't hang loosely as the Zappos picture leads you to believe. This gear also works well with ear buds (I put the ear buds on before the Bula and the Bula keeps them in place the entire run). Oh. And wearing this makes your feel like a ninja. :)

It's a good hat. It's just a little big on me so it puffs up at the end. There's no way to pull it down or do anything with it to make it more stylish. But besides that, it keeps my head warm which is what I need.

Can't say enough good things about it - knit is very soft and flexible. I can pull it down over my ears comfortably and it doesn't fall into my eyes. Keeps me really warm, even on windy days. Highly recommended.

I wear this Nordic skiing and also Cyclo-crossing, (cycling- a fall/winter and cold weather sport). This is my 'go to' gaiter now for all my warm ups and practice sessions. I hate my neck being cold and don't want anything too constricting or suffocating, especially once I get going harder. This gaiter totally fits my criteria. I wear it 'upside down' with the turtle fur on my neck and the fabric ready to pull over my chin for warm ups. I have worn it in 30 degree practice sessions, it's thinner fabric is surprisingly very warm. I forget I have it on and it doesn't get too hot when I start to go harder. It wicks moisture away and is dry as can be when I remove it. I have tried a LOT of different neck gaiters and usually wear wool, but this one is my favorite.

This hat is great, just came a deeper, dark-bright green than the lighter aqua it looks in the picture. Otherwise, it's very cozy with enough to roll up/scrunch as you like. Love the BULA hats. Good basic beanie.

The large size is very large. My head is big and this one just fits. Otherwise it's very warm and definitely worth getting if you're going to be out in the cold.
