I purchased the two wheel version of the Transcend carry on wide body bag and loved it. I purchased this bag because of the 4-wheel spinner capability gives me better maneuverability. This bag is nice but I miss having the suiter section. Also, this bag cannot expand.

Love this bag. Many spinners are actually difficult to push but this one was easy, which was really surprising because it is so big. I also love the color and the fabric; it looks great and stands out from all the black bags at the luggage claim!

Friends recommended B&R and I trusted them and purchased the carry-on. I used it for the first time last week and it was great. The guarantee is what I like most because I travel often.

I splurged on the B&R Torq medium spinner, and the small spinner with the front panel. I wanted a suitcase the airlines weren't going to rip or crush. They roll well on carpet, and I like to roll it beside me or in front of me. They're a bit smaller than my previous carry-on. The locking front panel / pocket for a laptop or tablet is a nice idea, but it takes up a lot of the room in the lid, so you can't use that space for packing. Plus, it won't hold the power cables, etc. that go with the laptop, so that's a problem. The front panel / pocket is hard sided and has no give. B&R just came out with this new wide body carry on Torq spinner that is a bit wider and does not have the front panel / pocket. It has more internal room for packing, because it lacks a side handle, the front panel and the secret pocket between the handles that the front panel case has. It's also much lighter than the front panel case. It didn't come with a strap to attach to the larger case, like the front panel case did. Both small cases have pros and cons. Both small suitcase fit inside the medium spinner (only one at a time). All come with slipcovers, so you can keep the inside of the larger case clean when you stack them inside each other for storage. I'm keeping all three. So far any scuff marks from baggage handling have come off easily with a little GooGone. Minor scratches barely show. I'm very happy with these 3 suit cases. Briggs and Riley will replace any defective part free of charge, no questions asked.

This bag didn't work for me, but I was expecting it to do something it wasn't designed to do. I was hoping that it would be a really nice case for holding my sewing machine and its accessories. I was hoping for good storage and the ability to travel with it. However, it's about 1 or 2 inches too small in all dimensions. I currently have a cheap case from Joann Fabrics that looks very similar for my sewing machine, and I just don't like the cheapness of it. I wanted a good case, and I have other Briggs & Riley luggage, which I love. Unfortunately, this may be a great airplane carryon, but it does not work as a sewing machine case.

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Europe and carried this bag. It went from plain to train to hotel, all carry on. This bag can hold a lot and is easy to navigate. I like the "cruchers" on the inside. Fill, close, then squish down. Great innovation.

I splurged on Briggs & Riley TORQ medium spinner. I wanted a suitcase that the airlines weren't going to rip the fabric, like my last suitcases, or crush the stuff inside. I'm very happy with this suitcase. I love all the features. Mostly, I bought it for the B&R guarantee, although I hope I never have to test that. The ruby color is gorgeous. The zipper and locks work well. The wheels on this spinner work great on carpet. I like to wheel the bag beside me or in front of me.

Holds my laptop with room enough for a my tablet and change of clothes. Perfect for an overnighter. This is my 3rd purchase of Briggs and Riley and I've never been disappointed.

After two trips, I can confirm that this little guy holds more than any of the traditional carry-ons I've used before. One reason is that the bars for the extended handle are mounted on the outside of the case, leaving more efficient packing room inside. (In between the handles there's space to tuck in chargers or travel umbrellas.) Together with a tote bag, I have enough room for a three- to five-day trip. The wheels make it easy to push the bag alongside vs. dragging it behind you. Because it's shorter, the bag takes up less space in overhead bins (no need to put it in sideways in most). I've had other bags from Briggs & Riley and have been very impressed with their quality and clever features.

This is an excellent size for travel. It's also lightweight and well constructed. I've used other similar totes and this is, by far, the best for my needs.

I already own the Briggs & Riley Baseline wide body carry on and love it. I travel a ton and have dragged it all over the world. My current upright just "died" and I decided to replace it with this one. Briggs & Riley repairs for free for life. Everything about this bag is awesome, but the way the bag expands is super and the way it connects bags together to drag through the airport is also quite superior. Never have to worry about attaching or losing a strap...just pull it out of its zipper pocket, wrap it around the next bag, click, and go! My husband is envious of these bags and is waiting for his current suitcases to "die" so that he can buy one, too.

I own the wide-body carry-on of this line and love it. I replace luggage "as it breaks" and with Briggs and Riley, they repair it for free, so that won't be necessary. So when my current upright zipper broke, I decided to replace it with this OR the medium size Baseline upright. I decided to go with the medium, as this one is SO large I was fairly certain it would be hard to not go over the airline weight limit with it! But if you have no fear of going over the weight limit, this would be a great suitcase to hold enough clothing for two weeks...it's huge! For us...we sent this one back and kept the medium.

My job requires a lot of travel, so I need a bag that can withstand the rigors of regional and large body jets, and the various moods of baggage handlers. When my B&R bag arrived, I was worried that it was too small. So I did a "practice pack" with a week's worth of clothes/shoes/toiletries with my packing cubes and compression bags. I was shocked that I easily fit my slacks, shoes, blouses, robe and toiletries in the bag, and I had room for another pair of shoes! The B&R bag rolls like a breeze through airports, and its color is easy to spot at baggage claim. Add in the lifetime warranty, and this bag is a winner. Don't let the price scare you off. It's a terrific bag.

I bought this to complement or eventually replace a "carryon" from a Delsey set that is not really carryon sized. I always either checked it or gate-checked it, but when I fly unfamiliar airlines, I don't know whether I'll be able to gate-check, so I wanted something that was as roomy as possible while feeling very confident that I was "in the right" for carryon size at a variety of airlines, including international. I did a lot of research on various sites, including Flyertalk and other merchants that have reviews. So far I've only taken this on one trip, international, and it worked out great. It's light and the color is attractive but subtle. I used the pocket between the rails on the back for tall toiletry items like makeup brushes, a comb, electric toothbrush, which are awkward in my toiletry kit. I used the mesh part on the outside for my scarf once I was in the airport plus magazines. The top zip part works pretty well for your quart-bag of liquids although it's a bit shallow if you've crammed in a lot of little bottles. Behind that, there is a front pocket that I could use for a portfolio and my laptop. I didn't tax the capacity of the bag on this trip because it was fairly casual and only 2 nights. My only complaint is that the two inside-top pockets -- one mesh, and one for wet things -- only have a single zipper, which means you can only open them from the bottom. I usually put my suitcase on a stand in a hotel room and sort of live out of it on a business trip -- I only hang my hanging clothes and I leave socks, undies, etc. in my suitcase. I wanted to use the mesh compartment as a sort of hamper for worn socks and whatnot, but the zipper is backwards from the way it would need to be in order to leave it open and put stuff in it as I wear it. Still, that's a pretty small quibble. The wheels on this felt really sturdy and it was otherwise easy to use. I'm happy with it so far and look forward to some more international trips without checking anything.

As with all in the B&R Baseline series, this is a very nice, very well organized carry-on bag. My only concern is that in a time when airlines are getting very strict on weight limits, the B&R bags are still fairly heavy. Similar bags weigh two lbs less which makes a big difference when flying airlines with a 12 lb carry-on weight limit!

This is the less expensive line of this brand. It is a nice lightweight roomy bag; however, the back slip pocket which allows you to stow the bag over the handle of a rolling bag is useless. It is a thin strap which allows the bag to sag forward and fall off the lower suitcase.

Trying to replace a great, old carry on. This one looks great! Great organization. Nice looks. Good interior space. I am a bit concerned about it fitting In the overhead bin. It is a tad bigger than my other one because of the outside mount of the handle. I would love to know if anyone has had trouble with this. I never check luggage and can do 3 weeks in a carry on, so need as much room as possible. I'd hate to not have this work and have to check for a multi country trip this summer. Help?!

Awesome bag. I bought this to replace a 20 year-old Hartmann tweed. This bag has all the bells and whistles and is exactly as described in the Zappos video. The color is even better in person. More like a muted grey/red. The Transcend Cabin Duffel fits nicely on top. The dimensions meet the newest airline carry-on requirements. Can't wait to use it!

Awesome bag. Exactly as advertised/described in the zappos video. The color is even better in person. Like a muted grey/red. I bought this together with the matching Transcend 22'' rolling carry-on bag. The duffle fits nicely on top through the handle. I plan to stowe this in the seat in front of me for easy access in-flight. Can't wait to use both.
