A perfect dog walking and/or "chore boot" Last summer I purchased a pair of Bogs Tillamook Bay’s. They are a loafer version of the Bogs Roper. They are very convenient for walking the dogs in all weather, as they are totally water tight and the sole provides very good traction on rain or dew covered grass. They are comfortable either with or without socks. The wife even took to slipping them on when she takes the dogs out on wet grass. As winter approached, I noted that they also kept the feet nice and warm. I decided to look into getting a boot version for the winter snows. The Bogs Roper is that boot version. It possesses the same advantages mentioned above, plus can handle snow. As with the Tillamook Bays, they are easy on/easy off, so they are the perfect all weather dog walking and “chore boot.”
I'd also recommend: Bogs Tillamook Bay

I bought the Bogs Ropers to use as apres ski boots and they fulfilled my expectations. They are warm, completely waterproof, and -- because of the cut-out handles in the shaft and the neoprene uppers -- are easy to get on and off. They are, though, a bit heavier than I anticipated.

These would have been perfect for what my husband wanted, but unlike my Bogs, they run VERY large. My husband is either a 13 or 14 depending on the style. We ordered these in a 14 and they were so big they would hardly stay on, so sadly they have to go back. If you're between sizes, I definitely recommend ordering down.
