This helmet in size small is perfect for my 5 1/2 year old's ice skating lessons.
I am a casual urban rider who hasn't ridden a bike since my kids were small. Never wore a helmet in my early years but know better this time around. I have literally tried 10 different helmets, maybe more. My kids laugh and say I look like a spaceship is on top of my head, but I have to say that the slant is the best looking for me. It doesn't sit high up on my head like the Bell Citi did. The Giro Indicator was a close second but I wanted in in white and got it in grey for my husband, who still refuses to wear a helmet, so back it went. I am still deciding on whether to keep this one or the Bern Berkeley (a skater style helmet). Two totally different styles. My grown children think the Bern is more stylish, less dorky, but I have to go with what feels cooler (temperature wise) and lighter on my head. The slant is highly rated for safety and I have to say it feels great on, good air flow, detachable visor, adjustable. The Bern covers more of your head with less vents, thus you are aware of it more and it seems hotter. A sweaty head is something I don't want. So I have to decide on looks or comfort. Both are well made and rated well. I think I might just toss vanity aside and go for the Slant and let my kids laugh all they want!
Fits well with the extra padding provided for my 4 year old son. Stylish and also does not make him too hot after a lot of riding. He loves it.
Super cool helmet. Our girl wears this for bike and scooter riding as well as horseback riding. She loves it.
I love this helmet! It's very lightweight and it breathes! I've received a lot of compliments regarding the swallows, because they look like they should be tattoos! Iridescent patterns can be seen when you look at it up close. Very fine details!
My 2-year-old loves this helmet. He keeps it on even after he's finished riding, so it must be comfortable. The styling is cute -- sort of classic skater. We got the XS for his average head circumference and have the thickest padding option inserted, which was easy to do. The helmet should last us a while with the other two padding sizes that are included.
Love this helmet so much that I am buying a second in another color! It is my main helmet for long training rides on the road and local races. I have other helmets by Giro and Garneau, but I prefer this one. It is also priced right.
