These headphones work great. Nothing to complain about them. I would definitely recommend them to someone.

Worked perfectly but it's a bit too pricey for my taste. I ended up using these for a bit then found a simple Rubber Twist Tie that works just as well. If I could budget it, I would totally recommend these.

These are great looking, stylish headphones. Too bad they sound like garbage for their price range. When I asked for audiophile headphones, I received these for my birthday. Nice try, parents, but these are far from audiophile grade (although they retain audiophile prices!). If you're a person who cares more about style or branding than you do about audio and construction quality, these are for you. I'm not going to lie, they are decent sounding headphones. The problem, though, isn't with the sound. It's with the price tag. This price for these headphones? Someone somewhere is laughing at all the suckers that buy these slightly-better-sounding-than-average headphones with an audiophile grade price tag. I've bought much cheaper skullcandy headphones that sound as good as these do, just with less powerful bass. And, if you're in to muddy, overbearing bass and not quality, clearly reproduced lows, these are the headphones for you, assuming you're also in to paying a huge markup for a brand name. Their construction is decent, much better than the original beats which were mostly plastic with some metal bits here and there (the ones I got as a gift broke 3 months later under normal, careful use). I have to admit I do like some of the features, and they really did improve the overall feel of these headphones (they feel more solid, whereas the older beats were plastic, flimsy and rattled like cheap headphones when you shook them). One thing I like about them is the detachable cord. I have to summarize this by saying while dre's iconic headphones have seen some improvements with this new mixr model, they still are outrageously priced for what really matters about headphones - the quality of the sound. It's what I would expect from a $50 pair of headphones, not a pair at this price. If you're ready to drop triple digits on headphones, investigate a pair of sennheiser's, audio technica's, shure's, or any other from a myriad of audiophile brands. You'll get a much better, sturdier product, and the difference in audio quality will be astounding. This is what I did - I got a pair of Audio Technica A700x's (which were less expensive, by the way) and couldn't believe what I was missing with the beats. in the place of muddy, overbearing bass, suppressed mids, and forced highs was crystal clear, powerful lows, crisp mids, and crystal clear highs. Do not pay retail prices for them, if you do you are getting ripped off. Once I got my audio technicas, I sold the mixrs to the 8 year old kid across the street for all his Christmas money - $40 bucks - and he got great headphones for the money he spent, which he was very happy about. But spend any more than that, and you are throwing away your money.

Bluetooth skips at the beginning of the song. Had to return it. Used with iPhone 4S which does not skip with my jawbone Bluetooth speakers. Didn't purchase from Zappos, but at one of those airport stores (SFO Internation). Returned it to the same store after the trip. I would have kept it if it worked. Still looking for a good quality Bluetooth headphone. I wonder if the Zappos guys 'n gals have tested this, and I got dud. Love Zappos, don't know about Dr. dre's Bluetooth headphone.

To be quite honest, the Beats Solo HD's are not a bad pair of cans by any means. The flaw that most people have run into with this set of on ears is the lack of quality burn in. I happen to be quite fond of the bass response once they are burned in, it is a fun pair of cans. But, it would be smartest to invest in a good pair of over ears, such as the Senn HD449s or ATH-M50s

Absolutely terrible for the price. Go look at Philips Downtown's if you want On-Ear headphones, and Philips Uptowns if you want over ear. The EQ on these headphones is so bent towards the bass that the mids and trebs are almost non-existent.

Well I'm going to show them all the features and what I recommend for them if they buy beats by Dr. Dre and the sound about the beats by Dr. Dre.
