I almost love this coat. I love the length, the color and the fit. The fit is very feminine and flattering. Unlike the previous reviewer, I liked that the hood was not removable. But, there was too much bulk around the neck. My biggest problem with this coat is the zipper. It was very difficult to get the coat to zip. Also, the zipper ends and the coat flaps oddly below the zipper. The price tag is way too high for this coat. I also agree that it is probably a little thin for places with a real winter.

I wanted to like this coat, but many things prevented that. It did look nice but the L was snug. I am 5'3" and 160lbs. I carry more weight around my middle. It was very snug across my chest and stomach and it kind of bells out at the bottom. If I got the XL I think it would be too big, but I couldn't layer anything under this coat so I have already returned it. I wore a sweater and a t-shirt on a cold Chicago winter day and I was chilly. For $650 this coat should be PERFECT! It is not. I found the perfect coat. The Columbia Women's Alpine Escape. It is more than half the price and it has omni heat. I do wish that coat manufacturers would make petites more often. I end up looking like a snowman.

Well worth every penny. Warm, stylish, and fits perfectly. I'm 5'11", 180 lbs with an athletic build and size Large fits like it was tailored. This has become my go to jacket for everyday wear. Arcteryx is the best. You won't regret buying one. What are you waiting for?

GREAT BELT, SOMEWHAT HARD TO CINCH UP UNTIL YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. WIDE ENOUGH SO THAT YOUR PANTS DO NOT ROLL AROUND THE WAIST.

Stylish and the color is more navy then the blue/purpleish you see. Nice vest but thin and certainly not worth $$$. $$ is fine but this price just so it has the Arc-Teryx birdy, no thanks.

This Flex-Fit cap is comfortable from the moment I took it out from the unusually large box sent to my doorstep. I'm a size 7 in headwear so it isn't too tight, nor too loose. I have yet to test it in more extreme weather to see how it holds, such as in a more subtropical climate. The service rep to whom I spoke to stated that this was made in Canada but it is actually made in elsewhere.

This is an awesome jacket. When I got the box from Zappos I was worried about the weight, the box was like it did not have anything inside, when I opened it and grabbed the jacket it weighed almost nothing, but when I tried on, I could feel how warm I was getting. It is a very light jacket that does not need much layering. I am a tall guy 6', 200 pounds, and my chest is 47'' and I got a large size that fits me perfectly.

This is great coat and worth the price. I think it has high quality construction. Nice styling so it looks great and feels awesome. It's lined, has a 2 way zip and extra fabric at cuffs and neck to keep out drafts. Shout out to bike commuters = this great coat for people who bike - the articulated arms give tons of forward motion freedom so when on the bike you don't feel any pulling on the sleeves. Great Job ARc'Terx!

I loved the way this coat looked so I ordered it. The cut and shape are super but I'm not a great fan of fabrics which are bound to another in place of an actual lining. The fabric was stiff. I also think it needs a 2 way zip as it's snug at the bottom as part of the style. It also needs lining in the sleeves so you can get your arms in better without your sleeves bunching up. I can't see this is a coat that should be priced this high - sorry - it has to go back.

I could not even pull these over my hips. They ran at least a size small so I am not sure which reviews are more accurate! I am between an 8 and a 10 but I could not even trust that the 10 would fit in these pants! These are light weight, well made pants. But again, for those of us with booty, it is just another pair of pants that seem to be made for no hips.

Nice lightweight soft shell. I'm 5'11", 185 and a large fits great. The jacket has a nice stretch to it and would be great for outdoor activities. I just find it extremely comfortable and very stylish.

I own two Arc'teryx jackets, so I was excited to try a coat. It looks nice. But this was thin. Not warm enough for northeast winters. And it has a difficult zipper. The hood is bulky and should be removable but it is not. I am disappointed to send it back.

I bought this jacket in Nighthawk, which is a dark blue-gray with magenta trim. I was looking for a lightweight, high-loft down jacket to wear alone around town and under a shell while skiing. It didn’t work out, but I don’t think it’s a bad coat - it just wasn’t what I was looking for and wasn’t cut right for me. I think it would work great if you were looking for an exceptionally warm down jacket and were of short to medium height. This jacket was bulkier than I wanted, partially because I misjudged the amount of insulation in it and partially because of the cut. It’s not an “ultralight down” jacket; its volume is somewhere between there and the Michelin man down jacket you wore as a kid. The overall fit was true to size, but the the upper arms were baggy, which made my silhouette even more voluminous. It also seemed cut for a shorter person than me (5’10”). I could have worn it, but the waist hit me in the wrong place and the sleeves were slightly short and tight in the wrists. I have owned one other Arc’teryx jacket, and it was cut the same way, so perhaps this is consistent across the brand. It also should be noted that the Zappos description is misleading; the main insulator is 850 fill down, not polyester.

Not a warm hat...I sent it back. The fleece lining is only a small band covering the ears. You can literally see through the top part of the hat where there isn't fleece.

This is the most awesome shirt. It's very comfortable and stylish, more so than popular other brands. It's the thinnest I've found, but warm, functional and attractive.

Seem like they will be very warm this winter. I live in Boston where temps are regularly below freezing and will use these for outdoor hiking, cross country skiing, commuting and shoveling! They seem like they will do the job well and are built with the insane attention to detail you normally see in arcteryx gear.

This coat is amazing. Incredibly warm, wind proof, perfect for commuting with its 2way zipper. I wore this all last winter and it still looks brand new! Machine washable too. Expensive but totally worth it! I used to wear the North Face Metropolis coat but this one is made from much higher quality fabric and is just as flattering. Warmer, too.

This is a great bag. I went for a three week trip all over Europe and it was perfect. I had it over packed so there was times it was heavy but this is the best backpack I have owned. I highly recommend it. Make sure you adjust everything before leaving. If its adjusted properly it makes heavy loads way more manageable.

No pit zips but sleeves are perfect length, nice and long. Wrist straps look durable. Not having having more than one pocket is a compromise. But pockets on raincoats don't keep stuff dry. Also more seams means more stitching to fall apart so it's better this way. Arc'teryx makes great stuff. Loyal customer for many years.

This hoodie is super-soft and well-made (which it should be for the price). It is shaped and therefore follows your body lines, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it is tight. (I got the medium which is my usual size.) Fits nicely over a t-shirt with some room and yet still not looking shapeless or bulky. As long as it lasts well, should justify the price given how frequently I expect to be wearing it.
