Seems like it will be a comfortable. Unfortunately it ran a bit small. I usually wear a 9N, and am returning for a 9.5N.

Style? Looks like a bowling shoe with arch support. They will adjust my gait. Having just arrived I find them very comfortable while adjusting to them inside the house.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have owned in a long time. My feet are wide and my toes won't tolerate any restriction, but these offer ample room at the front while having adjustable tightness for the rest of my foot. They also have plenty of padding and offer great arch support. They don't have much traction for muddy paths, but are perfect for everything else.

I'm a high school science teacher so I have to wear closed-toe shoes most days. This can be an incredibly annoying when the weather calls for sandals. I have been incredibly happy with these shoes. I am petite and have very small feet, so that fact that they ran a little small was great for me. It doesn't significantly impact the fit for me, but I want to note that they are a roomy in the toe area. The red color adds a fun kick to an outfit. They are easy to wear and comfortable for a full day on my feet.

Even though they were my size, I felt they were too short. Also, the leather was very stiff, not soft compared to the Munro brand that I favor. Even though one of the straps is adjustable, the second strap is not, and it was very loose on my foot. I am returning these shoes.

These shoes are what I need for horrible foot problems including Neuropathy. They are just what I needed. Just wish they didn't look like old lady shoes.

I wear a size 11. This shoe ran a little small in length and width. The arch did not hit me in the right place. I only kept it one day, so no experience with "wearing" it. It was too uncomfortable for me.

These were my second choice as the Aravon Mona was not available in my size. I like that the Aravon line comes in wider widths which I need. The width is perfect in the toe box but the heel is too wide and does not fit well. My feet come out at the heel with each step. Tighteing the strap helped a little but not enough. I needed a black dress shoe in a hurry so I kept them but will not buy these again until they fix the fit in the heel. They felt a little stiff in walking but I am grateful that New Balance even makes dress shoes for those of us who need wide shoes. I bought my usual size of 8 1/2 W but perhaps I needed an 8 (which was not available). They cost a bit too much to order another pair at this time.

I needed a good, supportive walking shoe for my winter trip to NYC and my old shoes were just a bit too beat up. This was the 8th pair of shoes that I ordered and the only one that didn't get returned. Every time I called them my "granny shoes" everyone said "No! They look great." They were comfortable right out of the box, great walking shoes - fabulous for traveling. Because it has a strap, I could get away with very thin socks or wearing nylons and I didn't have a problem with them rubbing. I can't imagine having done that trip with any of the other shoes I had tried on.

Tried two Aravon styles this time, and both were too small, too narrow in my normal size, so back they go. For my high instep, the strap wasn't quite roomy enough either. Probably a very comfortable shoe in the right size; well-built, if a little cloddy.

This shoe is probably very comfortable (pretty clunky looking, though) if you get the right fit. My go-to shoe is Clarks, and a 9W almost always fits perfectly. Same size in this one, and I could barely get my foot inside. Way too tight. I'll try again at some point, but will go up half a size.

Let's face it and not the prettiest shoe, but I needed to be able to insert orthotics into a leather, winter-weather shoe. These are comfortable, true to size, with moderate arch support. I did get the bunion area stretched on one shoe at the shoe repair shop but that's an issue with my foot, not the shoe. A little clunky looking, but fine with jeans and pants.

These shoes manage to look dressy and also be comfortable! The heel is wide enough that I feel quite stable walking in them, and the ankle strap keeps my foot from sliding too far forward and pinching my toenails. The one thing I was concerned about was the velcro of the ankle strap. While hook-and-loop closure allows for greater flexibility in strap adjustment, I feel the need to be vigilant not to snag my tights! I haven't had any hosiery ruination yet, however, so maybe it's not as great a danger as I feared.

I was in love with these boots when I saw them and have always been a fan of Aravon style. I was very disappointed to find them too narrow for my feet, even though I ordered a wide. I thought for quite a long time about whether the tightness and pain would be worth the pretty boots, but in the end had to send them back.

I loved these shoes but they were extremely small for their size. I am 68 years old and never worn more than a 6 in my life, but I couldn't get my foot into these shoes with any comfort. They were extremely small. If I returned them for a larger size, I wouldn't know what size to try. I don't even think a half size would do it.

I can't rate these shoes as to comfort because they run large and I am returning the pair I ordered. However, they look well made and they come with a wide toe, so I will try ordering a pair that are a half size smaller---though they may run a full size smaller. Can anyone recommend another brand of low-heeled pump with lots of support and cushioning that runs true-to-size?

Ordered 9W, I usually wear a 9 or 9W. I would say runs about 1/2 size large, and not sure if it was because I ordered W, but the ankle seemed "baggy."

This shoe is great for my size 12N foot. I need a N shoe, but also need room in the toe box for my arthritic toes. This shoe is great for that. Also, the sole is great, in that the balls of my feet do not burn and hurt when walking long periods in these shoes. They also look very stylish and classy.

These are nice, well made shoes and have a spacious toebox, which I need, but the Mary Jane strap doesn't work for me because I have arthritis and very high arches. They're also a little bulkier looking than what I need now.

My local store said they were no longer available. Wrong! Zappos had them in my size and sent them almost as quickly as I could have driven to the store and back. These shoes have become my "go-to" shoes for work and events over the holidays. Granted, they're not the sexy footwear I wore 25 years ago, but my feet say "Thank You, Zappos!" Aravon are the most comfortable shoes I have owned for several years.

So-so...just an okay shoe. Not thrilling. Nothing wrong with per se, but it just doesn't blow me away. Feels soft as in it would probably stretch to a comfortable shape, but snug at the same time. The outer sole feels a bit too "thin" since I'm used to Dansko clogs 24/7. Perhaps I'm biased.
