THE most comfortable shoe for touring Europe! Could wear them all day long; and, they are waterproof (for Venice).

These shoes are classic, comfy, and well made. My only quibble is that they don't have a lot of support on the sole. They're very attractive, soft, and the color goes with everything. More like driving moccasins than loafers.

I loved the slim ankle & stable heel on these lightweight, water-proof boots. I just couldn't get past the really wide square toe. The toes look like little shovels. Not what I was going for.

I love these boots. Not only are they incredibly good looking, they are also gore-tex. For the wet days that San Francisco gives me, these are perfect. I can stay completely dry while still looking good. I initially got these because they were water proof, but because they look so great, I find myself wearing them all the time. I have small ankles and larger calves and so have a really hard time finding boots that fit me. But these fit me really well.

I like the style and color, but think that it's overpriced for a shoe with rubber sole and heel. Also, I didn't care for the tacky-looking bow.

This shoe is very comfortable and I was thrilled to find it in a 10.5 size. Sizing seems generous and since I most often need to try to fit into a size 10 it's possible these are sized a bit large. Styling is masculine but goes well with slacks. My complaint is they are easily scuffed. I ordered the brown color and after only 1 wear the color is off in spots. I've worn 3 times now and they look very "old." Will bring to a good shoe shine to see if they can be saved. Maybe the other colors would be better. But the brown color is the exact shade I wanted.

Great shoe, wearable for work on one's feet all day straight out of the box. Very chic looking, elegant, and yet I can do all the walking I care to do in them. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful shoes. Bought them for a business trip and wore them 4 days straight no issues at all. Ran alittle small OK with hose but not cotten socks - but still OK

First boot in a long time that was comfortable right out of the box. The B width feels just a shade wider than the norm, so I'll add an insole or an extra sock. The textured sole is a plus. Am puzzled as to whether it's real leather or not (I kinda think not), but it's soft and well made. Seems water-resistant. All in all, a good buy!

First of all, this is a good looking shoe. They look good with slacks and suits. I just got a brown pair. When I tried them on, the first thing I noticed is the arch suppport they have. The shoes look like they are well made. I ordered a 7.5, which is what I normally wear. They did fit and I probably could get away with wearing them without any problems. But, I would have liked a little more space in them because they had a snug fit and my concern is how they would feel after wearing them all day. I really wish they were available in wide widths. I've decided to order a size 8 and see how it feels. I'll do an update to this post once I've had a chance to do a comparison fit test.

I love my new shoes; they are gorgeous and comfortable. They are definitely worth the price tag. There was no break-in period and no pain or blisters after walking eight miles the first time I wore them. I have received many compliments about these shoes and was even asked if they were a pair of Tods. I am a true size 7 with narrow feet. The taupe in a size 6½ fit me perfectly.

The description of this boot says it has a leather upper, but it is definitely a synthetic material. The sheen and the way the upper bends when you walk makes it obviously faux. The overall style is great, if you don't mind a fake-leather boot! Be aware, also, that it is sized by UK standards -- I ordered a 9, the boot and the box say "9", but elsewhere on the box (in smaller letters)it says "11 1/2 (U.S.)". If the uppper seemed like a better quality material, I would exchange for the correct size, but I can't go along with paying this price for faux leather, so I will return it.

These loafers are gorgeous - soft and sumptuous. I so badly wanted to keep them but I just couldn't get them to fit. I normally wear an 8. These 8's were too small and the 8.5's were too big. I'm so disappointed. Great neutral color that goes with anything. ARA is my favorite brand.

This is an excellent shoe. It's comfortable,stylish, and true to size. I bought the shoe in brown and am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Also, thank you again, Zappos, for your excellent customer service.

Great shoe. Speedy delivery. Put it on and felt so comfortable. Only wish it was available in black.

I recently had knee surgery and needed to downsize my heels, yet needed something that was stylish for work. I also travel and pound the pavement across the country. I tried these on and was shocked how comfortable they were and snugged my feet. So amazing I bought one of every color with absolutely no regrets. Perhaps one...can they make even more colors?

This is my third pair of ARA shoes. I have found this shoe very comfortable for a flat dressy shoe. Would again highly recommend!

I received these boots today at 3pm. Put them on, and kept them on until 10:15 tonight. They wear like an old friend, like comfy slippers. This never happens for me! I bought them for a trip to Europe and trade shows. They are going to be one of my best boot investments.

This is a very good looking shoe, and it's wonderful that Ara offers it in a variety of colors (who knew Navy would be such a rare color?) Comfortable on my wide feet right out of the box as others have stated. I have two minor complaints 1) the bow/tie--for the price we/I paid for this shoe, I would expect the bow to either stay in place on it's own and/or already be secured by the manufacturer. My first day of wear, I had to tie them no fewer than 10 times--so today I glued that bow. I own another pair of Ara's and thought that they made and manufactured ALL their shoes in Germany, but noticed these were only designed in Germany, but made in Indonesia. That's my own fault, though.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend. In fact I have several different styles of ARA shoes and rate them all 5 stars.
