Have to agree with (and thank) the reviewer who said that these are lightweight and flexible. They're super cute too. Not clunky in the least.

I needed a new pair of hiking boots that were reasonably priced and not ugly! These fit the bill! I got the cranberry color which is really a nice magenta. Very feminine. And they are super comfy as well. My only initial complaint was that they were a little tight across the toe box, right where the lacing begins. But I wore them around the house for a few days and they really loosened up in that area. Can't wait to go hiking in them!

This boot is beautiful. The fabric is durable and sleek. I loved the Vibram sole and the really good arch support. Unfortunately the inside seam on the heel rubbed when I walked and I knew it would result in blisters even with thick socks. I'm typically a size 8-8.5, narrow foot, so I ordered both sizes 8.5 and 9 just to be safe. Size 8.5, which was too tight. The size 9 fit, but was snug with thick socks. Ultimately I returned both pairs because the comfort level was not good enough especially at this price.

I compared this shoe with the Teva Onminium and the Keen CNX. It sits between those two in several ways. It has a thicker sole than the Keen but is lighter than the Teva. It's more comfortable than the Teva, but not quite as comfortable as the Keen. It has more arch support than the Keen, but less than the Teva. It has a clip down strap across the top of the foot similar to the Teva. The Keen just has a pull cord up the middle. Of the three I felt the Ahnu provided the best compromise for extended walking while still being relatively light. I wanted to have a little more protection on the bottom and arch support than the Keen provided. The Keen looked better, but I liked them all.

I saw a girl on TV with these sandals on. I googled them and found at Zappos. I bought for a trip to Hawaii. Wore them almost every day, put a lot of miles on. Super comfy and they go with everything. Can't remember when I made such a good purchase.

I love these boots. I had to wear them around the house for about a week because like other reviewers stated, the tongue rubbed my ankles. That area is not bothersome now. I would suggest ordering 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size. Mine fits great with thin or thick socks. I love the deep teal color as well. I'm glad to have found the Ahnu brand as I've never heard of them. If their other shoes are as comfortable and stylish as this boot, I won't hesitate to buy more from them.

I loved these shoes, returned the original pair because the left one creaked! However the fit and design are so good I'm exchanging for another pair. Do order up 1/2 size, as the other reviewers noted.

This is my first time to write a review but these amazing shoes deserve to be talked about. I'm pretty fussy and am used to very good clogs with no back so I was a bit reluctant to order these. Like other reviews, I wore then right out of the box, no break in required and love both the exceptional comfort and great styling. I have two pairs and am going to buy another. It's a can't miss purchase.

I bought these boots because of the reviews I read on Zappos web site! And I'm thrilled with the whole process. They are easy to break in comfy on long hikes and in the city on a cold day. I trudged through rain and mushy ice and never got my feet wet. Great boots. Great fast service. It was so much fun to surf the website. Thank you Zappos!

I bought these to wear while walking my dog and I wanted something very comfortable that would keep my feet warm and dry in the winter. There was one pair left in the size and color I wanted and they arrived promptly. As soon as I put them on I knew they were perfect. However, the pair arrived with some caked on mud on the soles. Obviously someone else tried them on and returned them before. The mud brushed off and shoes were in perfect condition. They were so comfortable I didn't even care about a little mud on the soles. I have since used them in rainy and snowy weather and happy to report my feet remain dry. Love the fit and I'm already checking out the whole line of shoes in this brand. I usually wear 6.5 wide and got these in 7 reg and fit is great with regular and thick socks.

Ouch! The first time I wore these the leather material on the left boot dug painfully into the side of my ankle. I had to take them off and put a large bandage over the area because they had rubbed a sore into my skin. Besides that, they were very comfortable, true to size, and every bit as attractive as the pictures. I do wish that they were a little taller, though. In the video they seemed to come just below the model's knees, but on me (I'm 5'9") they are quite a bit shorter.

Bought this boot to replace my Keens of similar design. Very pleased with appearance and function. Only issue would be the size of the strap to pull the boot on with. Too small to get your finger through it, which makes it a little difficult to put the boot on with heavy socks. My Keens are only a year old, but started developing a clicking noise when I walk, so hopefully they can be repaired or replaced by Keen. If so, this will be my back-up pair. Live and work at a ski resort, so I am constantly taking boots on and off during the day when visiting rental units.

So comfortable! Like other reviewers have noted, these boots are wonderfully comfortable. The day after they arrived, I wore them on a 7 hour hike in Joshua Tree, scrambling over rocks and climbing through caves. There was no need to break them in. It was relatively warm on the hike, but I didn't think the boots were too hot at any time. Such a great find!

Just got my new Sugarpine shoes. They fit perfectly. I have a high arch, narrow heel and wide toe area. I wear size 10 and these are very comfortable. Plenty of room in the toes, snug in the heel and plenty of support. I need a shoe for hiking and I am glad I bought these.

These shoes have a high instep and very prominent arch support, for someone with high arches. Mine are low and I was conscious of bumps under my arches when I walked. They have a nice wide toe box, though.

They look cool and they're nice and light, but the material felt cheap (kind of plasticky) and thin. I can't imagine that they would keep my feet warm. The Zappos video described the lining as "plush" but it's just nylon. The zipper and lace combination is a great idea, but the zipper hit my ankle uncomfortably. I wore the shoe around my house for two days and it still felt weirdly stiff when I went down stairs. Finally, two big gaps formed between the shoe and each side of the tongue when I flexed my ankle at just about where the gusset ended...perfect for snow to get in the shoe. Sorry, not for me.

These shoes are fun to wear because they're cute and stylish. Love them with skinny jeans. I bought the brown and they came with two pairs of shoestrings...green and brown. I've only used green because they really add some interest. These are quickly becoming my favorite pair of shoes!

Love, love, love these boots. They are very comfortable and look great with skirts and dresses. I was worried that the width was tight on my wide feet, but they stretched out after wearing them for a day and now they fit perfectly.

These are ADORABLE. And comfy! Can wear them straight out of the box. I went up by a half size, and was glad I did.

I love these boots! They are super warm, waterproof and incredibly lightweight. I also love that they have the laces as well as the zipper so you can quickly get them on and off but still can adjust them if you have to. They also have great traction for icy roads and trails. The arch support is also very good. Can't say enough, worth the money.

I got these boots last night, took them out of the box, and went on a 4 mile, 4 hour hike in sub zero temps, breaking snowy trail most of the way. For any seasoned hiker, this is a total no, no. But these boots performed amazingly. With winter weight socks and gaiters, my feet were warm and dry (and honestly warm feet have always eluded me when it comes to winter sports in general...I just expect that I will have cold feet). I wear a size 9 street shoe so I ordered a 9.5 and that left me just enough space for air flow and really heavy socks. I'm in love!
