Just bought this and used it right out of the box. Smelled a little funky (vinyl), but I aired it out and the smell dissipated. Very comfortable with the memory foam pad, a little noisy since it was between two walls but I don't think it would make noise if it were out in the open. Great product, I'd buy it again!
Borrowed this item from a friend to help shelter refugees from Hurricane Sandy. It was easy to blow up and took up little space. You have to be careful that kids don't jump on it because it could develop a leak.
This bed had a lot of potential, but the smell was awful. It was like a brand new vinyl shower curtain. Even with the sheet (which, being fleece, is too warm a material for warm months) over it, I could not imagine putting my child to sleep on it.
This is the Perfect AeroBed. It has a built in pump for easy access. There is an inflation / deflation control knob at head of bed and a quick release air valve for fast deflation. It reminds me of the earlier AeroBeds except with a built in pump. Do not buy an imitation just to save money! I went through two cheap knock-off air mattresses in four months. My last AeroBed lasted eight years until it was damaged from an errant sofa bed couch spring that damaged it beyond repair. Ultimate is to add a 4' memory foam topper and you do have a sleep number type mattress.
Delivered on time as promised, very happy with the speedy delivery Zappos offers, thank you. Aerobed worked A-OK...very comfortable and able to sleep on it the very first night. Inflates in seconds and deflates in seconds. Works for me. Next time 'might' try a higher dimension...the 9" is fine. Just curious what a higher height might offer. One note...bed can be cold. You are not sleeping on a mattress you can warm up with body heat. The air inside/underneath the mattress stays cold, something to keep in mind. But yes, very happy with purchase and Zappos.

Do not buy this bed! Not because it isn't comfortable, because it is. Don't buy it because it's crap! The wonderful folks at Zappos have replaced it for me twice as the first one was wouldn't hold air right out of the box. The second developed a bad leak in a couple of months, and the current one, yes number 3, just started leaking today at almost 5 months out. I use it as my daily bed. Don't do it unless you're a glutton for punishment like I am. I have had excellent luck with the other models I have had for years without incident. There is one in my guest room and one on my motor home, and they hold air just fine. This one is just a dud.
This is the best ever for younger children. It's like sleeping in a big raft, but more comfortable and they don't roll off. It's the second one we've had. We gave the last one of my nephew who just loved it.
This bed is a great size. I purchased it for my toddler (2 1/2 years old) to use on vacation. He loved it and called it is special bed. It's perfect when a child is too big for a pack n' play but doesn't have a regular bed available to use. I especially liked the raised sides. It is surprisingly big (I am 5'2 and it was barely too small for me to use), so I think he'll be able to use it well into childhood. The price is a little higher here than at other retailers, but I because of Zappos fast shipping and great customer service, I went with them anyway. Overall, great product and I'd highly recommend for traveling with children.
