Not much to say really. A classic shoe that has stayed true to its form over the years. I know what I am getting every time I order them. The best part, I order them from Zappos on Friday I get them on Monday. Truly amazing.

These shoes are very cool-looking. They tie nicely and have fairly good traction for walking, standing, and other very basic activities. Unfortunately, the tongue is rather rigid and digs into the ankle area when walking. Returned them to get the Adidas Campus, which are almost as good-looking and has a much softer tongue.

They were comfortable right out of the box. The soft suede feels broken in immediately. I love the feel, and the classic style.

Many years ago, I had the black version of these which were designed for indoor soccer. They are just as comfortable. The only difference is that they do not have the high tongue designed to accommodate shin guards. Not being soccer player, I see this design change as an improvement. I'm sure I'll wear out this pair (wore through the sole after several years) just like I did my original pair.

I always really like sneakers that don't have a lot of sole. Something closer to the ground but with some support. Sambas always do that for me. These are particularly comfortable as I often have trouble with my ankle bones in one foot or the other rubbing on the side of the shoe and these fit me well. I am an exact 6.5 US woman's fit with average foot width, and these fit great.
